Am I misunderstood or do I expect too much from people. I understand we are all complex but I really just don't get something that's right in front of them. Being the swanky woman that I am, I guess some are bothered and don't get that I am phenomenally me and people can't change me. I have been accused of trying to be modern..
Just because I do not let traditions make who I am, I am modern. I believe some traditions are there to undermine women and let patriarchal men become lazy and ebullient (because let's face it who's not happy when they are chilled out and relaxed). Apparently females are supposed to be the supporting casts to the main actors who are the males in their lives. Unfortunately I do not agree!! I was not born to be somebody else's spare.. I was born to shine in what I am and become the leading lady in my own story.
Maybe that's why I have always had a problem with accepting gifts from men who find me attractive.. Yes I am pretty so what, does that mean I should be rewarded for it? Anyway that's my rant for now..
